The liquids discharged from wet waste gas purification plants such as alkali scrubbing method-based desulfurization technology and the oxidation method-based denitration technology contain a large amount of soluble salts like sulfates and nitrates, and such high-salinity wastewater cannot be discharged into the fresh water system. The technology employs the combination of high-pressure flat sheet membrane and evaporative crystallization to greatly reduce the operating costs and fully achieve “zero” emission.

The patented BioCleaning technology uses high salt-tolerant microorganisms to efficiently remove ammonia, total nitrogen (nitrate nitrogen), COD/BOD5 and other pollutants in the high-salinity sewage environment up to 80,000mg/L (8.0%wt), and then convert them into harmless and stable nitrogen, carbon dioxide and water.
（1） It can withstand high salinity and can still ensure high removal efficiency of total nitrogen, ammonia nitrogen, COD/BOD and the like in the high-salinity environment;
（2） No sludge particulate will be produced;

The drainage treatment unit of MSTN, abbreviated as PTU, is used to flocculate, precipitate, filter, neutralize, oxidize and re-filter the waste liquids from desulfurizing and scrubbing towers until the COD (from sulfite) and TSS emission requirements are met. The technology has been put into use for nearly 30 projects of treating COD and TSS in efwastents from desulfurizing and scrubbing towers.
